Between the Bridges Art Festival Returns to Coolidge Park October 24–25 |
About 50 local artists will showcase their work during a busy Chattanooga festival weekend |

A Weekend Devoted to Local Artists
Coolidge Park will welcome the sixth annual Between the Bridges festival on Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25.
Organized by the Association for Visual Arts, the event focuses on Chattanooga-area artists rather than a broad national vendor roster.
Approximately 50 artists are expected to display and sell their work, giving visitors a chance to meet the people who make it.
The festival offers a relaxed opportunity to discover local creativity while supporting artists directly.
When to Visit
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 25, from noon to 5 p.m.
Coolidge Park's location on Chattanooga's Northshore provides a scenic setting for browsing artwork and spending time outdoors.
Visitors should check for any weather-related announcements or last-minute program changes.
Community Organizations Participate
This year's festival will include community partners such as Scenic City Clay Arts, H*Art Gallery, the Photographic Society of Chattanooga and The Chattery.
Their participation reflects the range of disciplines and creative communities found across the region.
The event is suited to residents looking for something different from a conventional shopping trip or crowded concert.
Part of a Busy Downtown Weekend
Between the Bridges coincides with other large regional events, including the 7 Bridges Marathon, Chattanooga Jazz Festival and the IBMA World of Bluegrass gathering.
Organizers anticipate a busy weekend downtown and on the Northshore.
People driving to the festival should leave time for parking and possible event-related traffic.
For 423 Daily readers, Between the Bridges offers a particularly local way to experience the arts while celebrating the people who create them. |
