Chattanooga’s dining community has a new reason to celebrate after five local restaurants received recognition in the 2026 Michelin Guide of the American South.

The honors were announced at an October 21 ceremony in Nashville, adding national attention to restaurants already familiar to many Scenic City diners.

Little Coyote earned a second consecutive Bib Gourmand, an award associated with particularly good food at a strong value.

Its sister restaurants Easy Bistro & Bar and Main Street Meats received recommendations for a second year as well.

The Rosecomb, a neighborhood bar in Riverview, also secured another recommendation.

2nd American joined the list with its first Michelin recommendation.

The five establishments bring distinct approaches to Chattanooga dining, from neighborhood hospitality to modern interpretations of Southern and American favorites.

Recognition does not mean every restaurant received a Michelin star, a distinction worth keeping clear when sharing the news.

For the teams behind these kitchens, the announcements reflect years of preparation, service and investment in local dining experiences.

For residents, the list offers a fresh reason to revisit familiar favorites or try a restaurant they have been meaning to discover.

Chattanooga’s food scene is gaining wider attention, and the latest guide gives local hospitality businesses another moment in the spotlight.
