The Chattery Seeks Input From Chattanooga Creative Entrepreneurs |
Regional survey open through December 4 will help shape business resources for artists and makers |

Artists, designers, makers, performers, and other creative business owners around Chattanooga are being asked to share what they need to grow.
The Chattery has launched a regional Creative Entrepreneur Assessment, with a survey open through December 4.
The project is intended to identify everyday challenges, ambitions, and gaps in available business support.
Organizers are interested in hearing from people at every stage, from those exploring a first idea to owners of established creative enterprises.
The assessment is being conducted with Chattanooga consulting partners Prospera Strategies and Rad Work.
Findings will support a recommendations report that local organizations can use when planning programs and resources for the region’s creative economy.
Potential partners include business-development groups, arts organizations, and community programs serving independent entrepreneurs.
The survey takes about five to eight minutes and is available in English and Spanish.
Respondents may also express interest in participating in a focus group planned for early 2027.
Selected focus-group participants will receive compensation, although spaces are limited.
Creative businesses often face a particular mix of challenges, from irregular income to finding affordable workspace and reaching customers.
The survey offers those entrepreneurs an opportunity to identify which resources would be most useful.
Chattanooga’s creative scene includes far more than galleries and performances, extending into products, services, design, and entrepreneurship.
The goal is to turn lived experience into more targeted support for people building a business around their creativity. |
